I had decided to take a break from halloween mani's, especially since I totally messed up my nail art mani. Granted I like halloween but I'm just itching to wear a green polish & a blue polish right now.
So the green polish I picked is actually the first time I ever use it!
October isn't just breast cancer awareness month, it's also International Pregnancy & Infant Loss awareness month. Theresa of Grace-Full Lacquer is helping get the word out to everyone.
Pregnancy & Infant Loss is very close to the heart of grace-full lacquer. Theresa lost her daughter at only 32 hours old. By hosting this auction, Theresa is hoping to bring more light to a subject that is not often spoken of. It's estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage while around 3,000 babies are lost shortly after birth.
Grace-Full Lacquer will be hosting the 3rd annual Wave Of Polish Auction. 26 indie polish brands have donated nail polish for this wonderful auction with all proceeds to benefit SANDS Australia.
Sands Australia is a non profit organization working to provide support and education to families going through the awful tragedy of losing a child.
Here are a few of the polishes that are in the auction
Today's mani is probably my most popular mani to date! I've gotten so many compliments even my doctor noticed my nails! I even had 2 people ask me if I did my nails myself or did I go to a salon.
I used Pretty & Polished in Aquaholic &
Turtle Tootsie Polish in Suvival
I love how they go so good together.
My nails look so festive!
This was my first time using Pretty & Polish & I was very happy with it. It was easy to use, dried quickly, and lasted several days too.
Granted this isn't the first turtle tootsie polish but it's the first topper I've tried, and I was very happy with it too. Now like with pretty much all toppers you have to swirl the brush around and "catch' the glitter which I thought was pretty easy. Dried fast & lasted several days too.
